the fish where just starting to color up and get in the mood. Kinda like the pre-rut for deer. We would not under any circumstance fish for a trout when it was spawning... also, the snag was accidental. The fish struck one fly, came off and was snaggeg by the trailing nymph on a dual nymph rigg. We had to get some pics of the colors. Just to set the story straight. ~bayekane
