Fished the Cranberry last week. Weather was great. Fishing was ok. No big ones were taken by us. Lots of stocked browns, I mean a lot. fished a lot of water, hard. 10 hours a day for 3 days. ....fish were acting a little weird, not normal. Had a lot of fun anyway....lotsa little browns and a few nice native brookies....not one bow in three days....hit the Cherry on the way outta town, nailed some nice browns in there as well.....

sounds like fun..........do you think there are still any of those browns left from the recent stocking? i was considering on heading down there in a couple of days....ive never fished the cranberry, does it holdover well?

Ya they stock that thing all the time. One of the most stocked streams in WV. Always stockers in there. Yes it holds over well. But, you need to cover a lot of water. Until you figure them out a little. There are some big fish in there. Natives and stockers.....check out my videos www.youtube.com/riverhunters

They definitely stock the heck out of that stream for sure! The Cranberry is a really fun place to trout fish for sure. I'm looking forward to a trip down there soon.
