We have been getting a lot of rain down here in Virginia. Is the Richwood area getting a lot as well? I am planning a trip to the Cranberry next week and was wondering if the water levels were staying high or if the water is running off quickly. Any comments will help. Thanks.

We just got back from Cranbery......Holy Cow, it was awesome. We got there at 330am june 14th. Slept in the car for two hours, got up and head down to the river. we parked at the top of fishermans trail. We stayed for 3 days and caught more fish than anyone can count. We went in with out bikes and camped at pheasant run. We fished almost the whole 16mile stretch of river and had the best fishing of my life. We caught Brooks, Browns, and rainbows. Big, Huge and small. Was wet going in. Conditions were perfect. Rained cats and dogs on our way out....Have many pics and videos. My buddy caught the biggest Brook I have ever seen, not in a book. ....video at www.youtube.com/riverhunters.

All I can say is wow. Awesome. Not my first time there....Best fishing is up from Dogway.
