There are a couple stocked streams up this way, mainly Big Sandy in Bruceton Mills. There are a few native brook streams around here as well, but most people tend to keep them pretty secretive. I'd say the closest 'really good' trout fishing to Morgantown is Garrett County, MD--about 40 minutes. Otherwise, the Canaan Valley area is very nice too, but it's about an hour or so away. It's well worth the drive though.
